The roof is also called ‘the fifth facade’. Green roofs give architects extra scope for working on the construction’s aesthetics. We take this idea one step further with our Custom Made Roof – a tailor-made sedum roof, where only creativity and the system set the limits.
At Nature Impact we cultivate our own mother plants, which are tended and harvested by our gardeners. From the plants’ tender start, we focus on optimising both health and appearance, and each type is grown in separate beds to maintain purity of the growths. In this way, when we closely monitor the plants, we check their development and growing conditions, and only harvest the healthiest plants. Thus we cultivate plants that in appearance and life span meet our well-known high demands for quality.
On our own horticultural farm we also have the advantage of being able to harvest and assemble our sedum types based on which Custom Made Roof the customer wants. We can assemble, for example, a green roof that only has Danish types in the plant mix. We call this the Native Roof. Or the Scarlet Roof, where we create a blend of sedum types exclusively in warm, reddish hues.
