Our horticulturalists have a lot of experience of designing green plant walls for different rooms. Only the imagination sets the limits. Together you choose the mix of green plants that is appropriate for the internal climate, sunlight and the desired appearance. An indoor plant wall requires minimal maintenance, and is inviting and luxuriant all year round thanks to a simple app-controlled watering and fertilising system.

Indoor plant walls – good for the eye and for the mood

Green is good for the eye. We know the play on words, and there is something about it. There is currently more and more research into the effect of green plants on people’s well-being. Studies show that our brains can chemically react to nature and plants by producing endorphins, reducing the level of stress hormones, and even increasing creativity and productivity. The phenomenon is called Biophilia – people’s innate joy of being close to plants and nature.

An indoor plant wall improves the indoor climate

There is no doubt that plants affect us. But there are more good arguments for choosing a living plant wall. A plant wall absorbs CO2 from the near environment, purifies the air and gives out oxygen in return – a natural part of plants’ photosynthesis. It creates a better indoor climate, and increases the air moisture in rooms where the air can otherwise become dry and heavy during the course of a working day. It is estimated that 1 m2 of green plant wall can absorb around 2 kg of CO2 per year.

Our indoor plant walls also have a positive effect on the room’s acoustics. Sound tests give our wall system a practical absorption coefficient of aw = 0.65, which means we have attained absorption class: C.
