Thai cuisine has long been popular in Denmark. This is partly because many people have visited the country, and have become fond of the culture, the food and the people. And not least because Thai cuisine meets the health recommendations, with its emphasis on fresh vegetables.
Its popularity and the gourmet quality of its cuisine have prompted Restaurant WOK to branch out, so the chain now comprises four restaurants. Restaurant WOK’s green, ecological gourmet profile is reflected in its motto: “natural, modern, Thai”. The natural and the modern are brought out of the kitchen into the restaurant at Østerbro, where the furnishings are relaxed, and where the walls send out the same signal with their lush, green plants.
The unique green setting underpins the quality of the natural cuisine and, like the food, expresses respect for nature and the green environment. The restaurant has chosen the composition of the plants itself, in cooperation with our horticulturalists.
